Re: Extruder Issue Mid Print
Thanks for the responses. I never jumped to a clog being the issue because it always started, but material sticking to the sides and eventually falling in makes a lot of sense. I'll hit it with a blow torch and see if i can clean things up. I appreciate the help!

Re: Extruder Issue Mid Print
I decided to sit by the printer and wait for this to happen. It took 3 hours, but i finally saw it stop extruding. The extruder was spinning but no plastic was coming out. I stopped and did a retract, the filament looked okay, so i cut it clean and put it back in... it started pulling in fine and th...

Extruder Issue Mid Print
I really need some help. I have no idea what is going on with my printer. Two things have happened: 1) I had a Z axis issue that stopped the bed from raising, causing the nozzle to continually extrude and move at the same height. This caused a big mess and my extruder motor mount to snap. 2) I have ...

Re: heater temperature drops to 0
I was able to figure this out. It was a bad sensor. I ended up touching the extruder nozzle to the heated bed and turned on the heated bed to 60 degrees. The extruder started out reading 21 degrees and as it climbed up to 40 degrees it dropped down to 0.

heater temperature drops to 0
Hello! Been printing with the m2 for about a year now, an just hit a problem I have not had before. With the printer sitting idle the heater responds with 21 degrees. Using the graph I have monitored this temperature and it stays at 21 for 10 minutes without any flickers. I then moved the heater cab...

MG Prusa Mendel Extruder On M2
Just curious here, but I have a MG prusa mendel that I used before I got my M2. It used 3.0mm filament instead of 1.75. I have 7-8 1kg spools of 3.0mm palstic that I likely will not use anytime in the near future as I don't have the time to keep both printers in running condition. With the 24V M2 is...

Re: Extruder Not Heating At All
I double checked just to make sure. I have it plugged into the output closest to the USB and reset button. According to the layout that should be heat for extruder 0.
If only it was that easy......

Extruder Not Heating At All
Hello, I just finished assembling my M2 and I am having issues getting the extruder to heat up. The thermistor is working correctly as I was able to heat up the bed and by keeping the nozzle close to the bed I could watch the extruder temp rise with the bed. When I command the extruder to 215C as in...
