Re: Adding auto leveling or tramming gcode to dual extruder
T1 ; Switch to right extruder offsets for homing Wait, what? I don't get why you (or PcS, rather) do this. Does it make any difference to the homing which extruder is active? this comment has always been in my start Gcode. Never felt a reason to remove and have never crashed or had an issues, so ne...

Re: Adding auto leveling or tramming gcode to dual extruder
I used PcS's Marlin code, so mine homes X and Y then moves to bed center and homes Z, this happens when i enter G28. Not sure how he set the code up to do this would have to ask him. Okay, thanks. I'm not using Marlin, but it's good to know how other firmwares are handling it. Obviously the normal ...

Re: Adding auto leveling or tramming gcode to dual extruder
This may be relevant only to my smoothieboard, which has completely different software for doing Z-probes. But, with the Z-probe sitting in front of the extruders, you can't just do a "home", or else when X = 0 and Y= 0, the Z-probe is off the end of the bed, so it will never trigger. To do a prope...

Re: Adding auto leveling or tramming gcode to dual extruder
looks good, i did run some ABS and all ran fine. I had the extruder at 245 and 2.5 hr build and had no issues. Using the fan housing was a nice touch. I have used NetFabb and extended the ducts to the extruders. I will make it and test it when i get back home.

Re: Adding auto leveling or tramming gcode to dual extruder
can you tell me where the STL files are for the dual? i need to modify my fans and plan to use Netfabb. You can find them at https://github.com/MakerGear/M2/tree/master/Printed%20Parts/STL/V4%20Hotend I like your solution (except for the overlapping washers); it's the most stable you can possibly m...

here is where That's where I was going to put it, but then you haven't attempted to put the fan back on, which will require a substantial redesign of the fan duct (or not so substantial---I came up with something quick where I just imported the fan duct STL into openSCAD and cut a bore through it. ...

Re: Adding auto leveling or tramming gcode to dual extruder
If you look at the beta z probe thread the marlin code I attached will work for you. The only issue I see is which extruder to use for your offset. Although on the m2 one is left and one it right I personally feel if you used the dimension directly between the two it would get you close enough.Or a...
