Re: failed print multiple times
Cant speak definitively but try lowering the tension on your filament. You might be compressing it too much and causing it to stop feeding.

Re: Hello everyone!
Welcome. I would suggest reading some of the stickied guides. They really are very useful in regards to common starter questions.

New firmware
The new Marlin firmware has some nice features including better thermal runaway detection. Any chance we can get a list of items we need to modify specific to the M2/3

Re: M2 Accuracy -- What's reasonable to expect?
1. I'm using Simplify 3D for the Makergear M2 Rev. E, Flashforge Creator Pro, and the Ultimaker 3, but Eiger.io (Markforged's proprietary cloud-based slicer) for the Markforged Mark II. 2. My M2 Rev.E's z-nut is black, not brass. I'm assuming this is the latest iteration of this z-nut for the M2? 3...

Re: M2 Fire Report
Here is an updated on what we know: Prior to the fire, the printer was shutting down with a temperature error - this means there was a problem in the temperature regulation system. The owner did not contact us for support but did order replacement parts (thermistor, cartridge heater and some other ...

Re: Lossing Bed Level
I am constantly losing bed level. I dial it in and after a few prints its out again. I have no idea what is causing this. I have several sheets of glass so I checked them and they seem to be close enough to not cause an issue. (around 0.05mm) I get several prints out and then it will start failing ...

Re: Speed and Strength - 0.75mm Nozzle?
I was printing at 245c with my E3D for white PLA at 65mm/s using the 0.6mm with 0.45mm layer height. Its bizarre to see the spool moving that fast. It did however cut the print time on the object I was printing from 3+ hours, at .35mm layer height, to around 1hr 40m so definitely worth it for me. Be...

Re: 123D Design Shutting Down
It was a surprise to me also, and I had purchased the Book! I was using Fusion 360 but as I noted elsewhere on here it was slow as it requires internet access and then the constant updates. I found this ViaCAD 2D/3D V10 and it was easy to use and not very expensive, see my "other" post on here. I d...

Re: Speed and Strength - 0.75mm Nozzle?
I found a nice balance with a .6mm nozzle. I can still print relatively fast (though I need to bump the temp slightly) and parts are printed considerably faster than with my .4mm. It does take some time to dial in the print settings but it can be a nice way of cutting down some time. Also for better...
