Thank you Rick, We do a lot of work for many different companies, inspection of large weldments to small plastic parts (all to CAD files) of plastic molds with shrink factor. We see it all. I think in most cad solid models you can see the cubic volume of a model. Just looking for a good way to quote the material cost.
