What about using a mini oven to heat your extra plates?

Obviously the initial warmup on the first plate on the printer still takes ~15 minutes, but after that, you could swap plates and start printing again in a matter of seconds

Re: Abs will not print
Check the diameter of your filament. I just had an issue printing some ABS (I can't remember the brand off hand) where the diameter actually measured 2.02mm and it got stuck in the filament drive mount. Of course this happened about 75% of the way through a 6 hour print  The oddball measuremen...

Re: USB or SD: How do you Print?
Octopi/USB FTW. Pretty much this. I did a 6 hour print overnight Saturday night with no problems. I uploaded the g file into OctoPrint, told it to print, watched the first two layers to make sure things looked well, then went to bed. I woke up with a perfectly finished part. I do have my printer/pi...

Re: Favorite way to prep your bed surface for printing PLA?
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00QEOB7EY?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00 I've been using these, has been working great. I would still be on my first sheet if my z-stop hadn't moved, causing the nozzle to gouge into tape and tear it up. There is no surface prep between prints e...

Re: Where is everyone getting their molex connectors from?
Thanks JIm! This is excellent information to have for future upgrades to my M2.
I just placed an order to Newark on Tuesday for some different style Molex connectors for an upgrade I'm doing to my pellet grill....great site with great prices.

Re: Z end stop clamp too big?
My kit that I bought a few months ago was/is the same way. I wrapped the shaft with a layer of tape, then clamped it down. I've been too lazy/busy to make a new one though

Re: Creating an Enclosure question
I too am planning to build an enclosure for my new M2. Below is a super cheesy MS Paint sketch of what I'm planning: http://i.imgur.com/Puiu22T.png Basically I'm going to have two chambers, the top for the printer itself, and the bottom for the electronics. The top chamber will have an exhaust fan t...

Re: Wobble-Free Z Knob
I just bought an M2 kit, got it all put together last night, will be firing it up tonight. I noticed the wobble as well, so this may be my first functional print after I get it dialed in. Thanks!
