Ha! A few months ago I would have taken you up, it looks like this nut might be close to being cracked...

I actually have my board completely unplugged from the machine right now as I had to get a replacement, so hopefully that doesn't effect how the lcd reacts, though it shouldn't as that shouldn't effect SPI.

I came across this firmware from the wiki, but can only get the beeper and LEDs to work, can anyone give this a shot?

I followed everything in the header of the Marlin.ino file and still no go.

I`m wondering if the viki 1.0 marlin makergear fork could work for 2.0 viki ? I looked at this briefly and it looked like it was tested with rambo version 1.3....which is what i have. I found the code for the original Viki on the Makergear site, my plan right now is to merge the relevant code from the Viki 2.0 firmware to Makergear's firmware. Ill upload it when/if I get it running.

I have an older M2 with the RAMBO 1.1b. Does anyone have the correct firmware for this? They have Marlin firmware, but I assume it needs to be modified to work with the M2?

Just wondering before I spend a bunch of time diving through code to get this to work.

Too low would be surprising, I run 196C for PLA. Although maybe it is not calibrated correctly. I only print in PLA but have switched colors a few times recently. Is this the setting you were referring to? (Plus hopefully more clear prints of my latest try using new filament and STL)

Hopefully its clear that there are stripes of perfectly normal layers, and stripes where no filament is extruded...

I've retried a few times now, even switched out filament, re adjusted the z-stop, and moved it away slowly from the bed to the point it was too far....same issue.
