Abs will not print
I have printed Abs many times with this printer, but now it is really giving me fits. I just used PLA to do a print and everything was working flawlessly. I need to do a project in ABS so I ran the e-sun cleaning material through the nozzle at PLA temperature and after it is clear color, I insert th...

Re: How to clean hot end when done printing
Ok great.
Thank you for the instructions. I just tried it today and it seemed to purge out the previous filament just fine.

Re: layer shifting after noise
Once again Jimc you nailed it! I turned down the xy default speed from 18000 down to 9400 and I had no issues at all. This is a replica of the DDG 1000 I drew up on Geomagic design. I still need to attach the back with 4-40 machine screws and print the bottom half in red. To be continued.... Thanks ...

layer shifting after noise
I have noticed on my larger prints when the print bed moves fast from front to back, (long distance) from one corner to the other it sounds like the print head or print bed hits something. Then the object I am printing gets messed up. After I hear this noise the printed object has a shifted layer ef...

Re: How to clean hot end when done printing
Just got some cleaning filament from esun. I use ABS and PLA with a v4 hot end.
What temperature do you recommend using the cleaning filament at when I clean between materials ?

Re: Ticking noise while printing.
Thanks for the advice jimc,
I think you nailed it. I turned down solid infill speed to 75% and print speed to 4600 and extruder temperature 220.
I heard a tick once in a while but nothing like before.
I am going to double check filament dia and tension screw pressure tomorrow.
Thanks again.......

Ticking noise while printing.
This is my first print with the M2. ( Tracks for model ) Very happy with the printer so far. My concern is that during the printing process there was a ticking noise coming from the extruder area. It sounds like the fan blades just nicking the fan enclosure. (fast ticking noise, but it only does it ...
