Re: Still no M4?
Great news on the enclosure. I hear you on the M4. I don't think I (or other folks) understood that it was an prototype to get market feedback rather than a planned product. Though I've been there before; I've been in product management for decades and have occasionally had "I'm looking for feedback...

Re: How much gantry curvature is too much?
Thanks, Pekish79 and Zemlin! I'm still digging into this in the interest of fixing this once and for all and being able to print edge-to-edge on the first layer. Here's what I've done: - Set up BLTouch and configured Marlin to sample a 15 x 15 grid - Modified Marlin so each sample point takes 9 samp...

Re: Z height suddenly off on M2 Rev E
I'm also seeing similar, but primarily when the printer has been sitting for a while (hours to a day). I can do a G28 then G1 X80 Y120 Z0 and the bed stops about 0.5mm - 1mm short of the nozzle. If I then do another G28 and another G1 X80 Y120 Z0, it usually goes right up to touch perfectly. For me ...

How much gantry curvature is too much?
I'm just about to embark on the BLTouch mod for my M2 Dual, but want to sanity check first. I'm doing it because I'm having trouble getting good first layers across the entire bed -- either the center is squished to paper thin, or the edges don't stick. My print bed is 0.25" MIC6 that I have triple-...

Re: BLTouch Auto Leveling Sensor
I'm about to embark on the BLTouch + Marlin 1.1.8 path for my M2E dual.... so yes, I would really appreciate any tips on upgrading Marlin to the latest. It's my understanding that you can't do auto-leveling with the dual extruder because on a non-level bed one extruder would crash into the bed when...

Re: M2 rev E electonics fan: 24v?
Thanks all -- I ended up getting a buck converter, mounting it inside the controller box, and replacing the controller and extruder fans with 12v Noctua models. For now I'm keeping the 24v bed fan, but may move to something quieter in the future (actually, I got 5 buck converters for $15 or so, so I...
