Re: M2 inputs?
Well, I've had 3 incidents in my 2 years of owning a 3D printer when a filament bulge has spoiled my print. I do purchase from reputable sources, I'm just wondering if an occasional bulge is unavoidable. I was hoping to make a "filament tension monitor switch". I would pass the filament through a sp...

M2 inputs?
Has anyone here added a functional input to their M2?
I'd like to configure a limit switch that will stop a print if it is triggered.

Bummer... I'm Southeast (Rochester)
I was going to ask if I could come over and see the V4 extruder in action.

Re: E3D V6
So the E3D V6 is really peaking my interest at the moment. I've even found a distributor that will allow me to select a 24V version. Correct me if I'm wrong, but would this mean, "plug-n-modify-firmware-n-play"? 1 x 100K Semitec NTC thermistor 12v 40W Heater Cartridge (24v/25w available upon request...

Another M2'er Among Us!
Hey everybody, Just wanted to let everyone know that I just helped a co-worker setup his brand new M2! After weeks of bringing in sample prints, answering his questions, and explaining all of the cool things (oh the possibilities) you can do with an M2. He ordered one. It arrived late last week and ...

Re: PETG Layer Adhesion
Here's my zipped factory file. Sorry it's taken me so long, I've been out of town.
Using PetG blue. No cooling fan. Extrusion Multiplier at 90. Maybe the adjust print speeds for layers <15sec? It's a small part.
If you guys see anything, please let me know!
Thanks.

PETG Layer Adhesion
So, I've been working more and more with PETG. I like it a lot, but I've discovered that my layer adhesion isn't that great.
I can tear my parts apart, strand by strand, layer by layer. I have a V3B hot end and I'm printing at 250° (Afraid to go higher) 40mm/sec
Any ideas?

Just setup OctoPrint. Any tips?
I took a trip to the electronics store today. I'm not sure how it happened, but I somehow ended up purchasing a Raspberry Pi. Anyway... A few days ago, I saw this tutorial video on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EHzN_MwunmE . I've even seen some chit-chat in this forum about OctoPrint. I fi...
