single v4 hotend

Has anyone worked with the single v4 hotend yet? Have anything to say about it? Is it pretty straight forward in installing v4? I am trying to decide whether I should get the v4 upgrade or a E3D V6. It looks like a few of you are using the E3D V6 and seem to like it, but it seems like a few modifications are needed to get it installed. I mostly print with PET+ and want to try out some ninjaflex in the near future.

Thanks for any input,

-Dan

I have a dual v4 and can't recommend it enough, but I've never used an E3D so I don't know which is better. It does work well with NinjaFlex.

One thing which may be important to you is that the E3D has different diameter nozzles available. The v4 has very easily changeable nozzles, but MG doesn't sell larger diameters (yet).

Any officially released specs on the V4?

Specifically the maximum print temp?

From the V4 thread (viewtopic.php?f=13&t=1606&start=60) Rick suggests the official rating will be 260C, but they used them at 290C before without issue.
