polycarbonate M2 enclosure

almost finished... just need to install a magnetic door lock on the front right hand corner... that explains the piece of yellow tape... the enclosure is made from solvent bonded polycarbonate... 10mm top and bottom... 4.5mm for the sides and electronics box... the electronics box is externalized... it installs from the inside... this means that you can undo the 4 screws that hold it in place, push it inside and lay it on the bed when you need to remove the printer from the enclosure... there is no corner post on the front right hand corner so when the front and side doors are open it is just one big doorway... this makes it easier when installing the printer... there is a rotary vent in the base to aid with temperature control... the 4 doughnuts around the vent are traps for the M2 rubber feet... the box is 400mm wide by 575mm long and is 450mm high... it is rather compact and very strong... it sits on 4 x adjustable stainless steel feet...

edit: replace low res images...
edit: I've been using this enclosure for a little over a week now... virtually eliminated any sign of lifting and distortion...
I'm actually thinking of doing a production run... anyone interested?
