Hi,
My extruder motor has stopped working. I've somehow fried the E0 output and its no longer sending a proper signal. I am SURE this is my issue (not cable, motor, etc.)
I use simplify3D. Could someone help me to utilize the E1 output on the Rambo board in place of the E0 output?
Thanks,
Rambo E0 output fried. Need help to utilize E1 output.

Sure you don't want to get a replacement Rambo? Or maybe check the fuses? (I'd trust MakerGear's instructions over mine.)
This is the correct placement for the plugs. You'll need to change your Tool to Tool 1 everywhere in S3d, and it defaults back to Tool 0, so you'd need to keep on top of it.
That's the limit of what i know - and no guarantees it will work.

Could you state what I'd need to change in S3D? I've tried that and haven't been able to get it to work.

Hang on........
Okay, don't know whether this will work or not but it's worth a shot:
On Layer tab - change Extruder Toolhead Index to Tool 1.
In the Jog Controls - change Active Toolhead to Tool 1.
This of course assumes that you have changed the 3 plugs to the receptacles shown above.
If it doesn't work and you have a V3b nozzle, you would have to update to V4 before you could use the dual firmware, at which point it should work.
