PetG Cement

I read somewhere, can't find the reference, that PVC cement will glue PetG. Looking at the ingredients I see that it contains tetrahydofuran which was mentioned as a bonder for PetG. I had two 20mm test cubes handy, 30% infill with top 0 layer and bottom 2 or 3 layers thick. Glued the two bottoms and clamped them overnight. To test the bonding, I put one in a vice and struck the other with a hammer to see where it breaks. See picture. Is this the type of bonding you get with ABS and acetone?
