Printing fine then not sticking

Well I spent most of the day printing on blue tape then suddenly I could not get anything to stick even with fresh tape. This kind of thing is why I set it aside months ago and only recently got it out again. Has the limit switch been reliable for setting the z axis or can it be finicky.

PLA? if so I replace the tape every time and rub it down with 91% isopropyl etoh whenever I replace the tape.
