quick question:
For the Y-spider subassembly, the step-by step lists a M3x16 and no washers with the 3/8 nylon spacer.
The exploded diagram shows a M3x18 and two washers with the 3/8 nylon spacer.
Which is it?
Thanks

Starting to assemble M2 kit
Re: Starting to assemble M2 kit
I'll let MakerGear reply officially, but I don't think it's critical. It's just an endstop. You should have plenty of spare hardware either way. However, since it's a nylon spacer, I would go with the washers. There's lots of clearance below that endstop, so use the M3x18.

Josh said to use the M3x16 with no washers

Color me "nevermind blush red".
Re: Starting to assemble M2 kit
I've assembled most of the subassemblies.
I was putting together the y-spider and need to know how tight do I make the screws that have the 1/8" spacers and springs. Do I tighten down to the spacer, or do I leave a gap with the spring?
Thanks

Re: Starting to assemble M2 kit
Those are your bed leveling springs. You will be adjusting them after full assembly. In general, you want them as tight as possible, given that you need to loosen some of them to level the bed. For now, tighten them to the spacer. When you go to level the bed, try to only loosen only the ones that you need to as much as possible.

thanks.
That makes sense.
That makes sense.
Re: Starting to assemble M2 kit
I'm attaching the extruder assembly to the extruder mounting plate on the X-rail. The instructions say to use 4 M3x12 and 2 M3 washers. Wouldn't it make more sense to use 2 lock-washers since this part is moving? Lock-washers were used for the y-mounting.
Thanks for any help.
