I need help downloading .STEP files from Github. I need the 1.75 filament drive for the M2.
I've forked it to my repository but have been unable to find the procedure for downloading.

Re: Downloading .STEP files from Github
Go to the github page for the file you want (i.e., https://github.com/MakerGear/M2/blob/ma ... .75mm.STEP)
Click on the RAW button in the header and save as (since STEP files are considered text files), or right click the button and save as from there.

Got it.
I opened in Inventor. Next step is see that it's properly scaled. The info. I need is probably in the file listing.
Thanks for helping this BSME over another of the MANY hurdles in the path toward proficiency in all that's needed in 3D printing & design.

What modifications are you looking into making?
You may be interested in this filament drive as well: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:433292
My friend rsilvers redrew the filament drive to beef up certain weak points and increase the cone on the lower filament path, and my friend eburt took that and made some more slight modifications.

I'm designing an adapter to attach the Discov3ry paste extruder to my M2.jsc wrote:What modifications are you looking into making?

I supported their Kickstarter campaign. I see potential of their approach beyond what's apparent now.
I like rsilvers drive. Will print one today. Thanks for the lead.
