A bit of a crash...

Post by jereywolf » Tue Dec 09, 2014 1:36 am

I wasn't watching while the first layer went down. I got a plastic build up on the nozzle. When I found it was too late.
The extruder mount broke and the liner partially pulled out of the hot end.
Can I shove the liner back in if I heat up the hot end?

I have also contacted Makergear support.

oh man, crappy deal right there. i think you could probably push the teflon back in and glue you motor mount back together and have it all last long enough to print yourself a new mount then you'll probably be ok but i would for sure change the peek out as soon as you can get one from makergear.

Thank you Jim! I'll try that now!

I actually have a spare mount so as long as I can get this back in I should be ok until I can get that new PEEK.

Too bad I can't just get the V4.
