Just received my M2 on the 26th and am one happy camper. I've been printing too much to get on this forum until now.

I purchased this printer mainly to do one thing: prototype parts for a watch case for the world's first Atomic wristwatch. I was sending my parts out to be made and it was simply taking too long. With the M2 I can get a good feel for everything before it gets sent off to be milled from aluminum. And of course, now that I'm using it, I can see how many fun things I can do with it. The quality of the prints is amazing, especially considering I have almost no experience.
I definitely have a lot to learn - I live in a pretty remote place (Kauai) and there's only a handful of maker-minded people here, but at least we all know each other.

I love forums and so I really look forward to becoming part of the Makergear community.
