Printing a curve object on a bed with supports ...how do you get the best bottomside finsh?

Parts I've done on the bottomside with stock S3D settings look stringie in places.

Increase support thickness? Increase first layer thickness ...or what?

Best possible finish: split the print and glue afterwards. You can do this right in Simplify3D with careful use of the translation tools: anything below the bed won't print, so duplicating the model, rotating one and dropping both the proper amount will do it. Note that "the proper amount" needs some attention, rotation doesn't occur in the axis of the plane.

If you really want to do it in one shot with supports, try increasing support percentage by a lot. Also make sure you are covering everything that needs to be supported, either manually or by using the new support extension feature.

Thanks to jsc added more supports and printed the models vertical instead of horizontal.
Result was 2 finished sides that looked much-much better.

Here's the supports thru S3D:
On the backside of the fish flasher models there's long pillars that hold the model
just fine as it prints. Piece of cake with S3D.

After trying Kapton and blue painters tape, Aquanet hair spray shown in the
photo solved ALL sticking to the bed issues.
