How to deal with ABS layer separation?

Hello comrades!

How do you deal with layer separation printing with ABS? Yesterday I have printed a part and covered it with primer thinking that primer will fix that separation, but now it looks even more uglier. Any suggestions?

I don't want to reprint, takes about 7 hours and still can not be sure I will get a different result

Thank you

If the piece is just for decoration (looks like a water tower for a train set maybe?) fill in the voids with a filler, (I use spot gazing putty from an auto parts store) sand it, then paint it.

To avoid the layer separation in the first place you might need to use a heated build chamber when printing parts with abs.
