power supply mounting question

Post by helifrek » Mon Feb 16, 2015 3:42 am

Hello everyone,
In an attempt clean up my computer area/printing area I mounted my power supply to my desk and it is resting on its left side (see pic).
It will still get plenty of air flow but I am curious as to if this is safe or if it will cause any issues in the long run.

I know someone is going to say something about the curtain being so close to the printer...... I am working on getting a large piece of acrylic or something cut to get some separation. I keep a close eye on the printer and only print while I am home right now so no worries.

Thanks,
Brandon

Given that is near the HBP cable and the HBP cable carries 8 amps, you should get a divider there sooner rather than later.
