Hello and thank you!

Just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and say thank you to all the members that have contributed to the great info on this site.
I am the proud owner of a new M2. I spent the last few weeks reading this board so that I could hit the ground running when my machine arrived.
As a result I was able to quickly get it set up and made a few simple prints the first night. Nothing crazy mind you, just a few single wall boxes to get my multiplier set and then a simple shape that I designed in FreeCad just so I could say to my wife "look what I made!" Not everything has been perfect, but thanks to the content on this board I have been making steady progress and learning a lot!
Anyway, I am an electrical engineer by training but enjoy woodworking and metalwork as a hobby. Needless to say, a 3D printer has been on my wish list for a long time.
