That is pretty cool I didn't know they sold at home kits, but yeah a little pricey. I like that skull and Cross bones though I might have to print one.

i have used hydrographics in a few different paintjobs i have done over the years. i watched that video and there is so much missing info there that its very misleading. as with everything there is skill and an art to it that you can only get with tons of experience. my buddy has a shop nearby who has about a 6ft long tank to do this in. what the guy in the video isnt showing you is the activator you need to spray on the water surface after the film is put in it. the activator is basically a type lacquer thinner or urethane reducer which you need a compressor and spray gun for. you would completely fog out your whole house or garage and go running out the door. most of you guys complain about the smell of abs printing. thats like roses on a spring day compared to that. the other thing is the tank needs to be temp regulated and have even water flow. the heat has to be stable. different prints need different temps as well. so much to know with this its not funny. just wanted to point some of this out so no one goes wasting any money and not be fully informed. to do a proper job it takes proper equipment which can cost 10-20-30 thousand dollars or more.
