thre was a recent news release that some vendor was 3D printing candy. So I was
wondering if I could do this on my makergear.
Is there an edible candy filament I can use? I assume that I would have to dedicate
the system to candy only ... no PLA, etc
any pointers?
3D Printing Candy retrofit?
Re: 3D Printing Candy retrofit?
I think what you're looking for is paste extrusion.
I talked to these people at World Maker Faire 2015: www.structur3d.io
It's a bit pricey but it supposedly can retrofit to an M2, and it does what you're looking for.
Last year at Maker Faire they were trying to do the world's first wasabi print. Sort of unsuccessfully. But I give them credit for trying.
