Some amount of personal promotion was involved, of course. You can't expect random people around the world to find your stuff if you don't tell them about it. But I just went to the 3ders.org site and filled out a form for tips and announcements and such, and was pleasantly surprised at the in-depth and detailed review they gave me.

It was nice of them to prominently display my quotes about MakerGear and what a great company they are and what a great machine the M2 is.

Yeah - one of these days - we'll be saying "We knew him when the "Tim's Twin Tornados" was just an idea........"

Congrats! :D

Tim is turning in to a rockstar. I was at robo 3d page and they are using his chess set as a sample.

Okay, I stand corrected. Maybe you can expect random people around the world to find your stuff even if you don't tell them about it. That probably explains the blip in my Thingiverse analytics a few weeks ago. . .
