M2 made what caught these fish!

With jimc's help, the lure that caught this juvenile King/Chinook Salmon on Lk. Michigan out of the
Port of Manistee, MI on 6/16/14.
Granted there more revisions on this secret project due to patent reasons, but it's a start!

Tackle design is very difficult, because water moves things different ways, ...at different speeds.
The M2 has allowed 4 prototype test versions. I am proud of this accomplishment with more and
bigger to come.
Fish was released unharmed and swam away as free as a bird.

nice john!! glad thats working out. it can look great to us but if the fish dont like it then whats the point lol.

World of 3D printing and the M2 has opened up new horizons appreciated by creative people.
It's big fun to turn your ideas into something solid and useable.
The help I've received for many members of this board has been priceless,
for which I thank you ALL!

Hey, John, that's great! Congratulations!
I don't think I've ever been to Manistee but I grew up on Lake Michigan (in Illinois) and later traveled many times through the UP on my way between Minneapolis and Montreal. Love that country. Never failed to stop and get a couple pasties!

Nice fish John! I'm fishing too, and with the help of my M2, I make handy stuff for flyfishers
Magnetic rod holder for car, demonstrated here with metal ruler as car door and screwdriver as part of the rod

The fly line tool shows what super gifted people we have here.
M2 takes thinking about something into the real world of making (for the most part)
new designs the world doesn't even know they need yet.

More lure testing on the morning of the 4th of July and landed a Chinook/King Salmon double header
on Lk. MI out of the Port of Onekama, MI around 7:30am.

My M2 has made 3 designs that all catch fish. Now, for the hard part, chose the right one before
I have an injection mold made and go into mass production. More testing still needs to be done.
It's some-where's between astonishing and mind blowing the ability to make in-house prototypes for testing.
Ultra happy I made the right decision to go with Makergear. Josh has handled warranty issues top notch.
A USA made parts, by a USA tackle manufacturer and by a USA's Makergear is why this is coming together!
Knowledge and advice here, on this message board deserves a lot of credit too
