What do you guys think about using Taulman 645 to print a new filament drive? This stuff melts at a higher temperature so I thought It might be better to use it.

i printed a long time with a drive made out of the 618. no issues and it works just fine. however i have just as good luck with abs. i tend to like abs better because its a bit more rigid but like i said the nylon worked great as well. it always looked dirty though......if your worried about it. right now i am running rsilvers drive in 90% solid abs. its really nice.

Great! I'll take a look at that drive is it available from thingiverse?
Surprisingly I haven't bought any abs yet. I'll get a roll coming! Thanks jim.
