I'm still new to 3D printing but I found a fairly easy way to remove those pesky prints that sometimes wont pop off and I thought I'd share my idea. I went to my local craft/art store and bought an inexpensive palette knife then used a knife sharpening stone to sharpen one side of it with the sharpened palette knife I can simply slide it under the print and they pop right off.

Nice, what bed surface are you using? Tape or just gluestick/hairspray on glass?

I'm using tape, haven't had any adhesion problems yet so haven't tried glue or hairspray.

I have done (effectively) the same thing! I got a joint knife from Home Depot (this one) and sharpened it. That is a bear unless you have some low grit stones, because they're not very sharp to begin with. It's still not as sharp as I'd like, maybe it's time to break out the water stones again....

I have mostly worked with PLA but I found that for stubborn prints using a chiller spray directed at the bottom of the piece where it meets the bed will tragically loosen it enough to just manually remove or allows for a joint knife or other sharp object to easily pry it off.

Is it safe to use metal on the glass bed to remove prints?
I just cant get my part off the glass.

Any help would be apprciated
