New Nozzle Settings

I purchase a .5mm Nozzle to replace my .35mm nozzle
Other than changing the nozzle dia in simplify 3d, are there any other settings I should adjust for the larger nozzle output?
Also, what is a decent layer height, that combines looking ok with faster print time speeds?
Thanks!

A layer interval that results in an width/height ratio below 1.2...1.5 may cause issues with layers bonding. The maximum width you can extrude in a controllable way is roughly equal to the free air extrusion width, which will be larger than your nozzle because of die swell depending on your material. PETG has almost no swell and some ABS swells like expanding foam. With ABS 0.4-0.5mm should be possible.

Make sure that your extrusion width is larger than your nozzle diameter by about 15%-20%. So an extrusion width of 0.6mm should suffice.
The Width/Height ratio should fall around 1.8 so a layer height below 0.35mm should be fine. I would go for a height of 0.30mm to keep number nice, maybe 0.33 if you want to keep it close to 1/3

Haven't had to use mine yet. But I imagine the same rules apply:
Your extrusion width needs to be greater than the nozzle diameter (ID). But it needs to be less than the OD of the nozzle face. So 0.5 mm < width < 1.5 mm. Anywhere in that range.
And to make it easy, i set my row height to half of whatever the extrusion width is.
