It takes Acetone and a whole lot of rubbing. This stuff may be overkill, at least with PLA - sort of why use a knife when there's an ax around.

Hot water and a scrubby didn't do it?

Nuts. I never would have thought of it. At least I didn't try MEK.insta wrote:Hot water and a scrubby didn't do it?

Glue stick just needs water. Take the plate off, turn on the faucet and let water run over it. Try cold or hot, see what works best. I use that and a sponge to remove.

Amazingly, possibly stupidly, I decided to just leave it on. I now have some "tooth" for the PLA to stick to. The shear strength of the glue-PLA bond is pretty amazing. the PLA-kapton bond is pretty good too.
