Foscam Camera Stand

I decided not to mount my FosCam on the printer itself since its so bulky. But it is an HD camera so want to continue using it.

I made this stand for it which makes it easy to move it in and out of position as needed. Its two pieces. One piece has a 12mm diameter by 40mm long extension on the end of the shaft which pressure fits into a matching hole on the bottom half of the shaft. I added thick cyanoacrilate (sp?) glue to make it permanent.

I probably got a little carried away on the supports, but I'm starting to get the hang of Cubify Design and am enjoying playing around with it. The print is PLA at 50% infill. I'm sure I could have gone much lower, its pretty sturdy. The velcro straps will go away as soon as I get the proper size nuts and bolts to mount the camera properly. I'll be putting it on Thingiverse in the next couple of days in case someone wants to print one.

Yes I printed it last night.

Did it as a two piece print, but printed both at the same time.

Do you mind sharing the files that might work for my camera?

Sure, I was going to put them on Thingiverse in a few days, are now on Thingiverse ( http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:435770 ) and this is how they are layed out in factory file. Note you may want to reduce in-fill some. Took about 16 hours to print, I used 50% and its pretty sturdy, may want to try much lower:

Here's how I layed them out. EDIT:(I didn't use a skirt since I was close to edges of glass):

I used "thick" hobby grade super glue which requires about 25 seconds to harden to glue the two pieces permanently. I put a good portion at the bottom of the hole in the lower half, and around the top of the lower half.
