More mod podging

Last night I looked around my desk and saw my tub of mod podge, my new inkjet printer, and my new craft cutter, and decided I needed to do something. I decided on a photo back for my 3D printed phone case. I had the model, so I was able to extract the back face as a DXF to cut from. I also have a non-decorative idea for a printed back where I would put several loyalty card bar codes and my Starbucks barcode.

You can see in this one the resulting texture, I might try sanding it down to get it more glossy:

Awesome idea! (And very cute kids! :D )

If you ever figure out a way to get rid of the brush strokes let me know - I've been trying for years. (I think i recall using varnish successfully at one point, but it yellows so badly.)

This page says:
For a very smooth finish, wet a piece of #400 grit sandpaper with water and sand lightly between coats. Wipe dry and polish with #0000 steel wool on the final coat.
