Fan speed Question

I am a new user of the M2 and I have noticed on some of my thicker plastic prints that my front two corners are curling up a bit while printing.
The print is a 2 inch square that is 1/4" thick.
Since it was the front two corners I figured it may be caused by the fan blowing on those corners more than the back corners, so I tried turning the fan off and it seems to be helping ( But it could be also that I gave the Glass a real good cleaning )
I am using the PLA
Extruder Temp: 217
Bed Temp: 70
Platform is Glass with no tape or other things on it.
So my question would be is it ok to run with the fan turned OFF on the whole printing process?
Thanks for any help on this....
