New M2s need V4 Single Extruder Update?

We just ordered our second M2. The first one is running with some custom printed parts, Noctua fans, and the V4 single extruder upgrade.
Do M2s purchased today come with the V3b extruder or the V4? Is the V4 still an upgrade I need to order separately?
