Hello,
I was having much trouble getting a quality print, many times corners or parts would peel up and later get hit with the hot end when passing over.
I tried different solutions (glue stick, hairspray) and now have just installed a PEI sheet on the glass bed.
I relaunched expecting a huge improvement but instead found that there once again was problems with the first layers.
I am printing with PLA on fine definition.
What am i doing wrong?
Is the hot end too high from the build plate?
Is the hot end not extruding correctly?
please help. thanks!

It's fine, but the nozzle is too far away from the build plate. Is the hot end not extruding correctly?
One other thing that you might not have done is to sand the surface of the PEI sheet with 1000+ grit sandpaper, then clean it off with alcohol on a cotton swab. It gives it some tooth. And PEI requires heat to hold, so make sure the bed is at 60°C or so, even when printing PLA.
Re: trouble getting quality print
thanks Jules,
I have lowered the hotted and its much better,
I will have to get 1000 grit sandpaper and try, but for now it printed well.

Re: trouble getting quality print

Also ABS and PETG?
thanks

These have been covered pretty heavily in the stickied threads in various subforums. Read around...
