Simplify 3D: Mandala Pattern

Post by Jules » Wed Oct 21, 2015 3:39 am

Hey Jim - remember that beautiful mandala pattern that i accidentally created with one of my prints when we were first testing the new S3Dv3? We never could figure out what caused it, and i thought it was a bug.

I figured out what i did, and how to recreate it. When I imported the FFF settings from version 2 , they had infill angles of 0°, 45° and -45° for the rectilinear infill. The default angle for the honeycomb patterns is just 0°.

But if you put the other two angles in there for infill direction, you get one snappy little fill pattern!

Coolest!
