3 has been flawless for me. And all I slice are more complicated multiple part prints.

Hi all,
I am having issues with the final couple layers of my prints since doing the 3.0.1 update; the prints slow down and the extruder jams because of heat issues and retraction of filament. I have adjusted the retraction of extruder speed to 1100mm/min and also adjusted the temp on extruder as well as x/y speeds. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to keep the speed constant for say the last 10 layers or so?
I have been printing Braq's articulated dragon and it`s been a pain in the a_ _ . Seems that the last couple layers on the tapered parts slow down way too much and the filament jams almost always. This is a fun project but now am getting flustered with the probs.
Please help...

Mike

Mike it sounds like the cooling speed override is kicking in. In the cooling tab there is an option to slow the speed by x% if the layer takes less than x seconds to print. You may want to turn that off.
