How detailed can I make objects?

Post by johnr » Fri Jun 19, 2015 5:04 am

Hey guys, so I saw this (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:187267) on thingiverse and I'm wonder if the MakerGear M2 can print it. Can it?

That is printed with support material. The dual extruder equipped M2's could possibly print that with PVA or HIPS as the support material. PVA dissolves in water and HIPS dissolves in a lemonine solution (you can find it on amazon...I want to try and see if it will dissolve in a normal citric acid solution)

It is nine ...or can be printed in nine separate pieces. You should be able to print this just fine with the right settings.

For future reference, here's about as accurate as I've gotten my M2:
