it's happened again.
I'm locked out of the program because I have too many activations. I only have one machine, so I don't know what's happening. I'm using it on a windows 10 (updated last week, had to contact S3D support to fix it then) Surface pro 1. This is the same machine I have been using for the last year or so. it seems like every time I restart the Surface pro, it pulls a new activation. I've uninstalled everything, and the uninstall should have deactivated for me.... but for some reason, it can't seem to hold onto whatever machine identifier it should have to activate with. The S3D site won't let me manually deactivate either of the "active" instances either, saying my account is blocked from using that reset service. I'm at my wits' end.
I cannot "activate" my copy of simplify because i have too many activations. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program. I can't deactivate through the software because I can't even open the damn software. I try to log it in, and I get a reject message, saying my account has too many activations.
I am beyond frustrated.
Is Anyone else having, or has anyone else had in the past, a similar issue with the program? If not, can someone give me a link to a working cura configuration file?
s3d won't stay activated
Re: s3d won't stay activated
I have working cura files but I cant.post.one until late evening after work. I hope you get s3d worked out. I can say I updated to windows 10 with s3d without incident. I would contact support again and if 6ou think it is the surface e.pro causing the issues try using a.different machine if you have one as a test.
Re: s3d won't stay activated
I usually stay on top and read about everyones s3d issues but thats a new one. I havent seen anyone post that in their forum before. Although i have not heard of anyone using a surface with it either. All i can say is you will have to work it out with s3d support.
Re: s3d won't stay activated
Log into your cloud account and deactivate all the instances, then reactivate it on your main desktop.

I've emailed S3D support before and asked them to deactivate installed instances ... they're pretty quick about it.
