The WAVES are back!?!
Re: The WAVES are back!?!
When you adjusted height the last time, did you check level as well? That was the root of my issue when I was seeing the same phenomenon. A combination of the nozzle too close to the glass and not being level.

One more thing... My S3D says I'm up to date and running 2.0.1?

Yep. I've been leveling like a madman over hereWhen you adjusted height the last time, did you check level as well? That was the root of my issue when I was seeing the same phenomenon. A combination of the nozzle too close to the glass and not being level.

Re: The WAVES are back!?!
this is a real puzzler. when you set the z-height, do you do it when the bed is up to temp? If not, that could cause a problem because the glass expands and shrinks the gap, especially around those high ABS temperatures for the bed.
about s3d- yeah, they haven't updated the updater. just go to the site and download the new version. i forget if there's anything more to it than that....but the latest version is 2.1. it's worth it to install.

Re: The WAVES are back!?!
here i just started a print a min ago and it has a wide skirt so i purposely turned my z-height adjustment knob to raise the bed 1 click so you could see what happened because now i am printing too close.
Re: The WAVES are back!?!
in terms of bed adhesion, are you using anything besides bare glass? if not you may end up thinking you have to be closer than you really do to get adhesion.
Re: The WAVES are back!?!
and here is another of the first layer infill. if i turn the knob and drop the bed 1 click this will print perfectly. of course you want to get your adjustment bolt set and not do it with the knob. i just did it to demonstrate.
