Good/Best Material for Living Hinge

Post by Lateralg » Mon Feb 22, 2016 6:50 pm

I plan to print the "Ada Hand", which has two flexible joints for each finger. The joints are a part of the model ... NOT printed separately.

The "hinges" can be seen here:

What's a good material for living hinges?

The documentation specs for the palm call for Ninjaflex. Which is what I would recommend as well.
I'm finally back to where I started two days ago!

A thread with some stuff in it I update every once in a while. viewtopic.php?f=8&t=9

i made a new hinge for our igloo cooler. its a simple live hinge. made it in semiflex. has been working fantastic. that and ninjaflex is some crazy durable stuff. you can flex it endlessly with no stress or tears.
