Hello,
Working on a submission for a contest that involves a rather large printed gear of .5 kilos. It is a rather new (Jan/15) M2 (firmware states 1.0.0 RC2) and is stopping the print on the same height despite using two different layer thicknesses (Used Slic3r). This last time I was in position to observe the stop at about 5.5MB/30MB complete (2hr/12hr). I tried the OctoPrint interface to "pause" then "unpause" the print. It subsequently said in the terminal over and over it was loading from the SD card, the same location, where I suspect it stopped. Eventually I restarted the machine and the raspi. Now the M2 will not connect to Octoprint. It says the state of the machine is 'closed'.
Anyone else had this or suspect the issue?
Thanks
.5kg Print Problems
Re: .5kg Print Problems
Hey Gang, an update,
Seems I was finally able to connect after a few power cycles, but it seems the SD will not init. I can't help but wonder if this was the problem for why the job dropped yesterday.
Thanks,
Andy

Re: .5kg Print Problems
.. can you try a new SD card?
Also, make sure you properly unmount the SD card when ejecting from your computer. Not doing so causes weird print failures.
