There's nothing wrong with my profiles as indicated by the G-code created by simplify3D working perfectly under Cura. The only problem is S3D's role as a G-code HOST on a windows machine.

Yeah not a gcode problem. its the firmware settings in s3d which need to be right so it communicates correctly with your printer. Some of the firmware settings can be overwritten by the profile. If the firware settings arent rigjt it might thing its talking to a makerbot or any number of 100 different printers. I know there is one firmware setting that if its wrong will eject the filament right out of the machine.
