M2, new heater, fluctuating nozzle temp.

My printer originally shipped on May 10th 2013, I ran some cheap filament through it and the nozzle got clogged up. I purchased a new nozzle kit from makergear and fired it up and the nozzle wouldn't get over 180, after realising I had the 24v heater on it, I replaced it with the 12v one (yellow zip tie) then the temps were back to normal however, it now overshoots quite a bit. I ran the autotune and saved the settings in the eeprom, it's a little bit better but the nozzle temp fluctuates constantly during a print where it use to be rock solid.

Do I need to update my firmware?
Do I have to run the autotune multiple times in a row?
I am fairly certain I have the 19v/12v version (I have two power bricks)
To the Makergear team, any chance we can get some decent shipping rates to Canada for filament? Canadian supplier perhaps?

now that you have your temps somewhat under control it might not hurt to run the auto tune again to see what you get. your printer i think originally came with the heater core type hot end. i made the same switch as you at one point but it was so long ago i dont remember but i really dont think there were any firmware changes other than the autotune. i do remember running it a couple times though and it did get better.

I ship a lot of fishing tackle to Canada and there's just no cheap way to do it.

It's close to 30 bucks Priority Mail from the US into Canada for a 2 pound package.
And that's bare cost with no wages added for the person doing the shipping.

It's supposed to be fair trade between our countries, but sometimes my packages
get hung up in customs, delaying delivery. Then, each item must be itemized
on a special customs form that takes a good amount of time to fill out.
