Hi everyone,
I am a happy new M2 owner but have two little problems. The first is I am wondering what is causing these imperfections in my print and how I can stop it:
And the second is, what should I change to prevent prints like this lifting from the bed well into the print? (lower bed temp or use a raft maybe? first layer looks good).
I am printing using the default "fast" settings in Simply3D, stock PLA, hairspray on bed, and 215c / 70c temps.
Thank you so much! Happy to be a part of this community!

Re: Print Quality Imperfection Questions
Increase coast to 0.60, lower bed temp to 57C, use hairspray on the glass, and make sure your bed is level / Z height is spot-on and you'll see a bunch of positive changes.

Thank you very much! Forgot to mention that I already am using hairspray. Will do the other things. Just got a dial indicator so I can get the bed level.insta wrote:Increase coast to 0.60, lower bed temp to 57C, use hairspray on the glass, and make sure your bed is level / Z height is spot-on and you'll see a bunch of positive changes.
Re: Print Quality Imperfection Questions
Insta, your advice helped. The imperfections are still present but have decreased in size. I'm still having to print with a brim for long components with lots of Z depth and little bed contact area.
I have been working on .1mm prints and am having a few problems. The only way I can get the first layer to lay down is with a 200% fist layer height. Also, I'm not getting the infill consistency that I was getting at .3mm (and before adjusting coast). See below. Any suggestions? Thanks!
