Custom Paint Job

Post by Mark the Greater » Tue Jul 28, 2015 5:35 pm

Hello.

Quick question: Anybody painted their M2? I have yet to assemble mine so now seems to be the time to ask this. I mean black is totally, like, super cool and all, but I really like yellow. Thoughts, concerns, words of wisdom?

Yes, there have been several gorgeous (and envy-inducing) jobs - you can see one of them in jimc's icon. There's a thread on them somewhere.

I think this is the Thread Jules is talking about.

Keep in mind Jim is a god when it comes to painting so your results may vary. :D

Thanks! I looked through but wasn't looking for that title.

I'll let you folks see how it comes out. I assume it will look like a fucked up bumble bee. Yay!

The M2 kit is a lot more assembled than you think it is. I'd be surprised if you actually took it apart as much as you're going to need to to paint it. "oooh shiny" kicks in very quickly when you unbox an M2

All depends on what I have going on that day. I assemble shit all day at work so tearing down further isn't a thing. If it comes later in the day it'll go with me to work and get painted. If it comes early, or I know when it's coming and call off, well... That's where the "oooh shiny" wins.
