For software, you will want a CAD design package that will export STL files. Then you need a piece of software that slices the STL into layers for the printer. Then you need those layers converted into G-code instructions for the M2 and sent to the machine via USB or SD card.

There are several free packages that combine these features, but most folks use Simplify 3D to handle the STL file slicing and coding. It is very affordable, well supported, and there is an M2 machine profile already loaded, so you can get started fast.

You will have to do some learning and adjusting of the software and machine, but it will not be hard. Makergear support is fantastic, whether from users in the online forum or directly from the factory. Print and machine quality is among the best in the business.
