Taulman's suggestion is a Home Depot bucket, with a hole drilled through (to hold a PVC rod for a few spools), with a 40W trouble-light at the bottom for heat, and holes drilled around the base and a few holes in the lid to promote hot airflow.
I need to keep about 6 spools drying at all times, so Home Depot buckets just won't hold enough. Anybody have suggestions for cheap things I can use in place? They need a reasonably snug lid, and the ability to sustain 120-140F temperatures all day long. I will handle heating.
