I've been eyeing this
solder fume extractor on Thingiverse for quite some time.
It printed so nice, I printed it twice!
(About 30 hours total print time for each one)

Well, since you've got
two, and
obviously only need one, feel free to send the other one my way anytime!

Then I'll have to print a third since I have to have a backup!

I see the brass Hakko in the background. I love those things!
Nice fume extractor too, I should make one for myself. It looks like 24 other people already have.
Experience is what you get when you didn't get what you wanted.

Me too! I was using them for years before I got my Hakko station. I'll never go back to sponges.

I do actually enjoy the smell...just figured that after decades of inhaling the fumes, I might want to give an extractor a try. Honestly, the buying the M2 was the impetus. It sounds silly but it took spending $2K on the M2 to "save" $70 on something like the
Hakko extractor that I might not have liked

My wife was not impressed with my first $1700 owl.
She was slightly-more-impressed with the matched pair of $650 owls.
