Killed A 50mm Fan Blade

Post by CCRN » Wed Jul 27, 2016 4:30 pm

Yesterday was a bad day with clogs and a my Z-offset changed due to a rare bug in the M2 Quickstart I was using to level/start height. David at tech support had to walk me through determining the z-offset and storing it. There is new beta M2 quickstart software I wasn't aware of.

Anyway, I was retracting filament to view and adjust tension per the beginner guide and the filament was under some tension. It came loose and the tip of the filament hit the spinning 50mm fan breaking a blade. Fortunately I had a spare :D

Some days things just don't go well, but today's prints are going much better!

Been there, done that, then switched to blower type fans. :D
